    Granny's Chocolate Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
    • 2 c. sugar
    • 3/4 c. cocoa
    • 4 eggs
    • 2 c. flour
    • 2 tsp. vanilla
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    • powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. Combine oil, sugar and cocoa.
    2. Add eggs, beating after each.
    3. Stir in flour, vanilla, salt & baking powder.
    4. Chill at least 2 hours.
    5. Drop by teaspoonfuls into bowl of powdered sugar to coat on all sides.
    6. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 - 12 min.
    7. Cookies will look like they are not done, but they are.


    Final Comments


    Extra dough may be frozen. Make into long rolls, wrap and freeze. To make cookies, slice dough, sprinkle with powdered sugar and bake.
