    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 cups sugar
    • 1/2 cup softened butter
    • 1/2 cup shortening
    • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
    • 2 tsp. cream of tatar
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 3 tbl. sugar
    • 3 tsp. cinnamon


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
    2. Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, the butter, shornening, and eggs in a large bowl.
    3. Stir in flour, cream of tatar, baking soda, and salt.
    4. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.
    5. Mix 3 Tbl. sugar and the cinnamon; roll balls in the mixture.
    6. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    7. Bake until set, 8-10 min. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.


    Final Comments
