Lemon Squares

List of Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups fpour, divided
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar, divided
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 cups sugar
Instructions
- Combine 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles cornmeal.
- Spoon mixture into 13x9x2 Pyrex baking pan. Press evenly and firmly into pan.
- Bake @ 350 degrees for 20-25 min. or until crust is light brown.
- Combine 1/2 cup flour and baking powder and set aside.
- Combine eggs, 2 cups sugar and lemon juice, beating well.
- Stir in dry ingredients mixing well.
- Pour over cooked crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. or until lightly brown.
- Cool on wire rack.
- Sprinkle evenly with powdered sugar
- Cut into squares
