Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

1 c canned pumpkin
1 c white sugar
1/2 c vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 c all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp milk
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c chopped walnuts



Recipe

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla. Blend well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking soda. Stir into the pumpkin mixture. Add the milk. Blend well. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minutes.
