    Easy Cookie Cobbler

    Recipe Introduction

    I made this during parent/teacher conferences in the fall and it went over really well with the College Hill staff.

    List of Ingredients

    1 can pie filling (flavor of your choice)
    1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
    1 c chopped pecans
    1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)
    1 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp cinnamon


    Recipe

    Spread your favorite canned pie filling in a 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Mix the almond extract with the pie filling. Crumble the refrigerated sugar cookie dough and spread over pie filling. Top with chopped pecans. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over the cookie dough. Bake for 30 minutes until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbly at 350 degrees. (My favorite is with peach pie filling.)
    *This recipe can also be doubled and baked in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
