    Gingerbread Cake or Bread

    Tonya Dahl - aunt of Lindsey Bateman - Kindergarten - Endsley and Trevor Bateman - 3rd - Scholfield

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 c brown sugar
    1/2 c molasses
    1 small can pumpkin
    1/4 c of melted butter
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp of brown sugar
    1 c of sweet milk ( I use any milk even soy).
    2 c flour
    1 tsp ginger
    1 tsp baking-soda
    chopped nuts optional

    Recipe

    Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Pour into oiled, bread pan, makes 1 loaf. Sprinkle with nuts and sugar. I usually double recipe and then you can bake as a cake. Bake 375 degrees for 30 minutes - test before taking out of oven.
