Grandma's Fresh Strawberry Pie

This recipe is from Merideth's Great Grandma Jacobs.
List of Ingredients
Crust:
1 1/2 c flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 c oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp milk
Filling:
1 c water
2 Tbsp cornstarch
3/4 c sugar
1 small box strawberry jello
2 pints fresh strawberries
Recipe
Mix ingredients for crust with fork in the pie pan and press with fingers to form shell. You can sprinkle a little sugar on the crust prior to baking if you like. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cool. Combine water, cornstarch and sugar for filling in sauce pan, stirring constantly. Cook until mixture is clear and bubbles. Add jello, cook, then fold in fresh strawberries. Add the filling to the pie crust and chill; top with whipped topping if desired. (You can also use a frozen pie shell instead of making from scratch.)
