    As-Much-As-I-Can-Get-In-My Salad

    Recipe Introduction

This is a list of everything I put in my salad. There is no set amount of any one ingredient. Basically, you can take out any ingredient that you do not like. This is the way that I fix it:

    List of Ingredients

    • Fresh spinach leaves, tore into bite size pieces
    • Lettuce leaves, tore into bite size pieces
    • Quarted tomatoes or lots of fresh whole cherry tomatoes
    • Quartered cucumber (peeled or unpeeled)
    • Quartered zucchini (small green zucchini)
    • Carrots, peeled and sliced
    • Celery, chopped
    • 1 can of garbanzo/chick peas, drained
    • Fresh broccoli, cut off into small pieces
    • Fresh Cauliflower, cut off into small pieces
    • Green and/or Red Sweet Peppers, sliced
    • Onion, chopped
    • Radishes, sliced
    • Pickles, dill or sweet, sliced
    • Black Olives, sliced
    • Cheddar Cheese, shredded
    • Hard Boiled Eggs (1-2), sliced
    • Chow Mein Noodles, Crushed Potato Chips, or Cheerios
    • Salt, pepper, garlic powder or chopped garlic clove
    • Shelled Peanuts

    Instructions

    1. In large salad bowl, toss everything together, lightly, except for cheese, eggs, peanuts and chow mein noodles or chips or Cheerios.
    2. Layer the sliced eggs, on the top and then sprinkle with cheese, peanuts, chow mein noodles, chips or Cheerios.
    3. Serve with your favorite dressing(s). I do not mix any dressing into the salad. Instead I set two or three different kinds out. You can add salt, pepper and garlic to taste.
    4. Makes plenty!

    Final Comments

Goes great by itself with maybe a dab of cottage cheese. Or use with spaghetti, fish, just about anything.
