    SHRIMP "MAISONETTE"

    List of Ingredients


    • 1-1/2 lbs. frozen, peeled and deveined shrimp
    • 1/2 c (1 stick) butter or margarine
    • 2 shallots, finely chopped OR 1 Tbsp finely chopped onion
    • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    • 1 c dry white wine
    • 2 Tbsp chopped parsley
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
    • Hot cooked rice


    Instructions


    1. Cook shrimp following label directions, being careful not to overcook. Split lenngthwise.
    2. Melt butter in large skillet. Add shallots; cook about 30 seconds until transparent but not brown. Add garlic and mushrooms; cook 30 seconds longer, stirring constantly.
    3. Add shrimp; cook 30 seconds. Stir in wine; cook 2 minutes. Stir in parsley, salt and pepper. Sprinkle lemon juice over shrimp, mixing gently. Serve over rice. Makes 6 servings.
