    Source of Recipe

    Internet

    List of Ingredients

    • 3 Tbsp flour
    • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 1 lb cubed steak (round steak that has been pounded with mallet), cut into serving-size pieces
    • 1-1/2 Tbsp salad oil
    • 1, 8 oz can tomato sauce
    • 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
    • 1/2 c sour cream

    Instructions

    1. Combine flour, garlic salt and pepper. Dredge steak in mixture.
    2. Heat oil in skillet. Brown steak, remove. Stir in tomato sauce and soup mix; bring to a simmer. Return steak to skillet, cover, and simmer 15 minutes.
    3. Remove steak to serving platter. Stir sour cream into tomato mixture and heat through (do not boil). Pour over steak. Makes 4 servings.

    Final Comments

There will be plenty of sauce which could be used on noodles or rice if accompanied with steak.
