Steak Stroganoff
2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes*
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 (4 ounce) lean minute or cube steaks
½ cup thinly sliced onion
½ cup (one 2.5 ounce jar) sliced mushrooms, undrained
3 Tablespoons Land O Lakes No-Fate Sour Cream
1 Tablespoon skim milk
Spray a large skillet with butter-flavored cooking spray. In a shallow dish, combine flour, 1 teaspoon parsley flakes, and black pepper. Evenly coat steaks, one at a time in flour mixture. Place steaks in prepared skillet. Brown steaks about 4 minutes on each side. Lower heat. Add onion and undrained mushrooms. Cover. Simmer about 12 to 15 minutes or until onion is tender. Remove meat from skillet and cover to keep warm. Stir sour cream, skim milk and remaining 2 teaspoons parsley flakes into onion mixture. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture is heated through. For each serving, place one piece of steak on a plate and evenly spoon sour cream mixture over top.
