Refried Bean Soup

List of Ingredients




2 tsp olive oil (pam would work)
1 large onion chopped
1 med green pepper chopped
2 tsp minced garlic
1 can ff refried beand
1 can corn
1 can ff chicken broth
1 16 oz jar salsa
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1/2 tsp cumin

Heat oil
Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender
Add garlic, broth, salsa and corn.
Raise heat to Medium high and bring to boil.
Rinse beans and add to pot- bring back to boil
Stir in refried beans and cumin. Stir Well and return to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer.


1 cup= 1 point or free for core

This soup is very thick and filling.
