    VANILLA TEXAS SHEET CAKE

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 2/3 c flour
    • 2 c sugar
    • 1 c butter, divided
    • 1/2 c vegetable oil
    • 1 c water
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 tsp vanilla
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 2/3 c buttermilk
    • 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
    • 1 lb sifted powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. Mix together flour and sugar. In saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter, oil and water; bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture and beat thoroughly. Beat in eggs, 2 tsp vanilla, cinnamon, soda and butter milk. Pour into greased 17x11 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees
    2. For Icing:===
      Cream together 1/2 cup margarine, 1 tsp vanilla and cream cheese. Beat in powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Spread over warm cake.
