    • 1 PKG. CHOCOLATE CAKE MIX
    • 1/3 CUP BUTTER, OR MARGERINE, SOFTENED
    • 2 LARGE EGGS, DIVIDED
    • 1 CAN SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
    • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
    • 2 CUPS SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE MORSELS
    • 1 1/3 CUPS FLAKED COCONUT,DIVIDED
    • 3/4 CUPS CHOPPED NUTS, OPTIONAL


    Instructions


    1. BEAT CAKE MIX, BUTTER, AND ONE EGG IN LARGE MITING BOWL, UNTIL CRUMBLY.
    2. PRESS MIXTURE INTO A 9 X13 INCH PAN.
    3. COMBINE CONDENSED MILK, VANILLA EXTRACT AND REMAINING EGG IN MEDIUM BOWL; STIR IN MORSELS, 1 CUP COCONUT, AND NUTS.
    4. SPREAD OVER MIXTURE IN PAN. SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING COCONUT.
    5. BAKE IN A PREHEATED 350 DEGREE OVEN FOR 30-40 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.(CENTER WILL SET WHEN COOLED.)
    6. COOL COMPLETELY IN PAN. CUT INTO BARS.
