- 1/2 POUND MACARONI
- 4 CUPS SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE, SHREDDED
- 1 CAN EVAPORATED MILK
- 1 1/2 CUPS MILK
- 2 EGGS
- 1 TSP SALT
- 1/2 TSP BLACK PEPPER
Instructions
- IN A LARGE POT COOK THE MACARONI FOR 8 MINUTES. SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY UNDERCOOKED.
- IN A LARGE BOWL, MIX TOGETHER 3 CUPS OF THE SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE, COOKED MACARONI, EVAPORATED MILK, MILK, EGGS, AND SALT AND PEPPER.
- TRANSFER TO A BUTTERED CROCKPOT. SPRINKLE WITH THE ONE CUP OF REMAINING CHEESE
- COOK ON LOW FOR 5-6 HOURS OR UNTIL MIXTURE IS GOLDEN AROUND THE EDGES AND FIRM.
- DON"T REMOVE THE LID OR STIR DURING COOKING
