- 5 POUNDS ROASTING CHICKEN
- SALT
- PEPPER
- PAPRIKA
- 5 CLOVES GARLIC, MASHED
- 1/4 POUND BUTTER
- 1/2 CUP CHICKEN BROTH
Instructions
- SPRINKLE THE CHICKEN, INSIDE AND OUT, WITH SALT, PEPPER, AND PAPRIKA
- SPREAD 1/2 THE GARLIC IN THE CAVITY AND THE REST ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BIRD.
- PLACE THE BIRD IN TEH CROCKPOT AND PLACE A FEW BATS OF BUTTER ON ITS BREAST. ADD THE REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND COOK ON LOW FOR 6 TO 8 HOURS.
- SERVE THE HOT GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE WITH THE CHICKEN.
