    A favorite of everyone and easy to make too!


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 sticks of butter or margarine
    • 2 cups of sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
    • 3 cup of flour
    • 1 can of cherry pie filling


    Instructions


    1. Soften butter or margarine by having at room temperature, or by putting in microwave only 10 seconds.
    2. Add the sugar, and beat till blended well.
    3. Add the vanilla.

    4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
    5. Gradually add the flour stirring in a little at a time,
      till all three cups are added.
    6. Pour three quarters of batter into a 13x9 well greased pan.
    7. Spoon cherry pie filling onto top of batter.
      Making sure filling doesn't touch sides of pan.
    8. Add the rest of the batter on top, connecting the batter over the cherry filling.
    9. Spinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
    10. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
    11. Cool in pan, and cut into squares for serving.
