    Cream Cheese Frosting for Carrot Cake

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    2 tablespoons butter
    3 oz cream cheese
    2 cups confectioners sugar -- (aprox)
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    Microwave butter and cream cheese in glass mixing bowl 1/4 to 1/2 minute or until softened.

    Beat in confectioner's sugar and vanilla until of spreading consistency. Frosts one 8" cake layer.
