    My Favorite Pat In Pan Pie Crust

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    1/2 C butter
    2 Tbsp sugar
    1 C flour

    Combine but do not cream the butter and sugar. Add the flour. Mix until doughy. If you want to have a crumb topping reserve 1/3 c. of this mixture.
    Press remaining dough into sides and bottom of a 9" pie pan with floured fingers.

    Bake at 375 f until lightly golden. Crumbs 10-12 minutes, pe shell 12-15 minutes. Cool.

    Serving Ideas : Use for any pie which requires a pre-baked shell.

    NOTES : makes 1 pie shell...Great with fresh strawberry pie or chocolate pies.
