labels for small containers -- 1 per girl
1 fine line permanent marker for labels.

    Recipe

The original recipe called for 1/2 teaspoon grated paraffin. The grate wasn't fine enough and the result was runny lip gloss. The second time I grated it very fine and doubled it. This worked well. I would try it yourself to see just how much you need to use...between 1/2 teasp. and 1 teasp. Do it at least a day ahead as it does set up more after several hours if it's runny.

Remember the 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon if you use flavoring.
    Directions:

    1. Write name on outside of baggie in permanent marker. Write name on label for the plastic pill container.

    2. Measure grated paraffin into baggie.

    3. Add coconut oil and vaseline to paraffin in baggie.

    4. Add two candy melts and flavoring (if desired) to ingredients in baggie. (The plain unflavored candy melts were described as "yucky" by my grand- daughters...the strawberry preflavored ones were fine.)

    5. Seal baggie and place in bowl of warm water untill melted.

    6. Squeeze and squish until well mixed in baggie.

    7. Cut a very small hole in one bottom corner of baggie.

    8. Helper holds bottle while girl drains liquid lipgloss mix into her own small container. (Or vice versa)

Gloss will harden quickly in the refrigerator. Takes a bit longer at room temp.

Paraffin wax can be found in most grocery stores or in large variety stores such as Walmart in the canning supply section.

Candy melts are used to make candy- most craft stores like Michael's carries them. They are also available on Walmart and many other "foodie" types shops. They will bew with the Wilton cake decorating supplies. In my own searching I found Michaels to have the widest variety. They are also available on the net. There are other brands besides Wilton's but I haven't seen them. Wiltons has the candy flavoring and colors too. I don't know what the coloring would do as far as how long it might take for it to come off the girls lips. We stayed with pink precolored candy melts.
