List of Ingredients
10 ounces frozen strawberries -- sliced and sweetened type
40 ounces fruit cocktail in syrup
12 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate -- partially
thawed
20 ounces crushed pineapple in juice
3 sliced bananas
Recipe
Partially thaw strawberries so they can be separated. Mix all the
ingredients together including all the juices from the canned and
frozen fruits.
To freeze: Pour into suitable containers for your family such as
quart-sized freezer bags, small freezer containers or foil baking
cups. Allow about 1/4 to 1/3 cup for a child-size serving or 1/2 cup
per adult. The leftovers have to be re-frozen so make sure not to have
too much leftover. Seal, label and freeze.
To serve: Thaw 10 to 15 minutes before needed. It should be slushy.
You can also add fresh fruits to your liking, if desired. Can freeze
in a small styrofoam cups with lids to use for lunch. By lunchtime,
the Fruit Slush will be partially thawed and slushy.
Makes 16 cups or approximately 32 servings.
