    Sour Cream Biscuits

    Source of Recipe

    Friendly Freezer

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups flour (White Lilly brand is good)
    * 1 tablespoon baking powder
    * 1/2 tsp baking soda
    * 1 tsp. salt
    2 cups sour cream
    1 tablespoon plus 1 tsp oil

    Recipe

    Mix dry ingredients, mix in sour cream and oil till moistened.

    Place on a flour surface and knead 4 - 6 times. Roll out 3/4 inch thick.
    Cut with a biscuit cutter. Do not twist the cutter, go straight down
    with the cutter. Twisting causes the biscuits not to rise as high.

    Bake on a lightly greased baking pan at 425-450 degree oven for 10 -12
    minutes.

    * Self rising flour may be used and omit the stared items above.

    This one is an easier one but still really tasty:

    Sour Cream Biscuits ( Easy)

    2 cups Bisquick
    1 cup sour cream
    1 stick soft butter

    Mix all ingredients. Grease a muffin tin. Fill 3/4 full and bake 450
    degree oven for about 20 minutes or till brown.

    Hint: May add 1 cup grated cheese for cheese biscuits.
