List of Ingredients
1 cup Quick-cooking rolled oats -- (250 mL)
1 cup Milk -- (250 mL)
1 cup Water -- (250 mL)
1/2 cup Raisins -- (125 mL)
1 tbsp Packed brown sugar (approx) -- (15 mL)
1 Apple -- chopped
1/4 tsp Salt -- (1 mL)

Recipe
Conventional method: In saucepan, mix oats, milk, water, raisins,
sugar, apple and salt; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and
simmer, stirring often, for about 10 minutes or until thick and creamy.
Microwave method: In 8-cup (2 L) glass measure, combine oats, milk,
water, raisins, sugar, apple and salt; microwave, uncovered, at High
for 4 to 4-1/2 minutes or just until thickened and creamy, stirring
twice. Let stand for 1 minute.
Both methods: Dust with cinnamon, and more sugar if desired.
