    Bisquick Like and Other Mixes

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 c bisquick like mix
    1 c sugar
    3/4 c water
    1/3 c baking cocoa
    2 eggs
    2 tbsp veg. oil
    Caramel-Banana Topping (below)

    Recipe



    Heat waffle iron, and grease if necessary.

    Beat bisquick like mix, sugar, water, cocoa, eggs and oil with wire whisk.

    Bake til steaming stops and waffle is golden brown.

    Serve with Caramel-Banana Topping and top with whipped cream, if desired

    Caramel-Banana Topping
    1/2 c packed brown sugar
    1/4 c whipping (heavy) cream
    1/4 c light corn syrup
    2 tbsp butter
    1 tsp vanilla
    3 med bananas, diagonally sliced

    Mix sugar, whipping cream, corn syrup, butter and vanilla in a one quart saucepan. heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add bananas, and stir gently til well coated.
