    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 cup Dutch processed cocoa powder
    1 cup butter -- room temperature
    1 cup sugar

    Recipe



    Position rack in center of oven and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Combine flour and cocoa powder.
    In a large bowl, combine the butter and sugar by rubbing it through
    your
    fingers. Gradually blend in the flour and cocoa powder to form a dry
    dough.
    On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2". Using
    cookie cutters, cut the dough into shapes, placing the cookies 1"
    apart on
    an ungreased cookie sheet. Pierce the top of each cookie several times
    with
    the times of a fork.
    Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are a very light golden
    brown.
    Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
