    3/4 cup shortening
    1 cup mashed bananas (3 old ones)
    1-1/2 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 cups sour milk (or regular & vinegar)
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup chopped nuts

    Recipe





    Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 2
    layers or 2 oblong.

    ICING:
    1 pound powdered sugar
    1 stick butter or margarine
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 teaspoon vanilla
