    List of Ingredients




    1 cup brown sugar
    3 tbsp. flour
    1/2 cup molasses
    1 beaten egg
    2 cups hot water

    Recipe



    mix all above ingred together and bring to a boil - add 1 tsp baking
    soda........cool - pour into 2 unbaked crusts and cover with:

    2 cups flour (unsifted)
    1/4 cup crisco
    1/4 cup butter
    1 cup brown sugar

    mix together with hands and put on the boiled mixture in the
    crusts.......bake at 350 for 30 min. - makes 2 pies
