    3/4 cup butter, softened
    3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
    2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 Tbs baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup milk
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    recipe rich chocolate frosting
    1/2 cup chopped peanuts

    1 Cream butter and peanut butter; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each addition.
    2 Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
    3 Pour batter into a greased and floured 13- x 9- x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
    4 Spread Rich Chocolate Frosting on top of cake, and sprinkle with peanuts. Cut into squares.
    5 Yield: 15 servings.
