California Ranch-Style Casserole

1 package onion soup mix
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 8 ounce carton sour cream
1/2 cup milk
2 garlic cloves -- finely chopped
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast halves
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter or margarine -- melted
2 cups hot cooked rice
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In small bowl, thoroughly combine onion soup mix, flour, sour cream,
milk, garlic and lemon juice; set aside.
In 2-quart casserole, arrange chicken breasts and vegetables; top with
soup mixture. Bake covered 20 minutes. Remove cover and top with bread
crumbs combined with butter. Continue baking, uncovered, 25 minutes.
Sprinkle, if desired, with paprika or chopped fresh parsley. Serve with
hot rice.
