    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    15 ounces tomato sauce
    8 ounces elbow macaroni -- uncooked
    8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
    12 ounces cottage cheese
    8 ounces sour cream
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    12 ounces Mozzarella cheese -- slices

    Recipe



    Cook ground beef until browned, stirring to crumble,
    in an electric skillet. Drain off pan drippings,
    and stir in tomato sauce. Simmer the mixture for
    about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Cook macaroni according to package directions;
    drain and set aside.

    Combine cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour
    cream, and onion; stir well.
    Layer half each of the macaroni, cottage cheese
    mixture, Mozzarella cheese, and meat sauce in
    a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish;
    repeat layers, except for Mozzarella cheese.
    Bake at 350*F. for 15 to 20 minutes; place the
    remaining Mozzarella cheese on top. Bake an
    additional 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
    Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
