Penne Pasta Casserole with Cheese

1 pound ground beef
1 chopped onion
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano 6 oz can tomato paste
12 oz uncooked penne pasta prepare according to package directions
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Recipe
HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. Cook ground beef and onion in skillet until no
longer pink. Drain. Stir in diced tomatoes and tomato paste and 1/2 cup
water. Season to taste, heat through. Coat a 13X9X2 inch baking dish
with cooking spray. Combine cooked pasta with meat tomato mixture and 2
cups mozzarella cheese. Pour into baking dish, top with remaining
cheese. Bake uncovered for 25 min. or until cheese is melted. DELICIOUS
SERVED WITH GARLIC BREAD. MAKES 6 SERVINGS.*
