    8 oz. noodles or elbow macaroni
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    2 tbsp. oil or fat
    2 lbs. ground beef
    2 cans (4 oz. each) tomato sauce
    1 can whole kernal corn, drained
    1 can (40z.) mushrooms, drained
    1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

    Recipe



    Cook noodles according to package. Pan fry onion and garlic in oil in a large skillet or kettle. Add beef and cook until meat is done. Add tomato sauce, corn, mushrooms, worcestershire, salt, chili powder, pepper, brown sugar and thyme. Mix well then add 1 cup of the cheese. Simmer 5 minutes. Combine drained noodles with meat mixture and pour into a 3 qt. casserole or 2 smaller casserole dishes. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top and bake in at 350 for 35 minutes until hot and bubbly. Yeild: 1 large 3 qt casserole ! about 10-12 servings.
