List of Ingredients




1 pound hamburger
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
4 cups potato slices
1 package (10-oz.) frozen peas and carrots, thawed
White Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1-1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 pound Velveeta cheese


Recipe



Combine hamburger, onion, egg, milk, bread crumbs, and seasonings. Shape
into 18 meatballs and brown in cooking oil.
Make a white sauce with butter, flour, milk, salt and pepper.
Add cheese and stir until melted. Combine potatoes, peas and carrots, and
place in a greased roaster. Arrange meatballs around the edge of pan, cover
with sauce. Cover dish and bake at 350 F. for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30
minutes longer.
