    1 pint cream
    1 pint whole milk
    1 cinnamon stick
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 tablespoon sugar
    9 egg yolks
    1 cup sugar

    Recipe



    Whip the egg yolks and sugar to ribbons. Bring the first 5
    ingredients to a boil. Temper milk into egg yolks. Return all
    to sauce pan. Cook slowly . don.t boil . until the mixture
    coats the back of a wooden spoon. Cool, then freeze in an
    ice cream machine.
