    2 C heavy cream
    2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    2 tablespoons minced parsley
    1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 lb. shrimp , peeled and deveined
    1 tablespoon brandy or cognac
    pepper to taste

    Recipe



    In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, combine cream, mustard,
    parsley, nutmeg and lemon juice. Simmer until reduced to
    about 1 cup, about 4-5 minutes.

    Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add
    shrimp and sauté for 3-4 minutes until pink. Do not overcook. Stir
    brandy or cognac into sauce and pour over shrimp.
