    List of Ingredients




    1 cup butter
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 cup chopped pecans
    2 egg yolks -- slightly beaten
    2 cups flour
    Icing
    6 tablespoons butter
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3/4 pound confectioners' sugar
    1/3 cup cream

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and flour. Blend well.
    Roll into 1/2-inch balls and roll in finely chopped pecans.
    Put on ungreased cookie sheet and press fingertip in middle.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
    While hot, press again with fingertip and bake for 10 more minutes.
    Cool.
    Fill with icing.
    Icing: Cream all ingredients. Beat until smooth. Divide icing into 2
    bowls.
    Tint
    one bowl red and one bowl green. Ice cooled cookies. (This makes
    enough for
    2 batches.)
