    Big Batch Taco Seasoning

    Source of Recipe

    unknown

    Recipe Introduction

    Also
    doesn't
have a thickener like the store bought packages do. If you
    want a
thickener in it, add one cup of flour.

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup chili powder
    3/4 cup paprika
    3/4 c ground cumin
    1/2 cup onion powder
    1/4 cup garlic powder
    1/8 cup salt

    Recipe

Put ingredients in a mid sized bowl and mix it up good.

    How to measure it:

If you do not use a thickener: Add 3 tablespoons to every
    pound of
    cooked ground beef.

If you use a thickener: Add 3/4 cup water for every pound of

cooked ground beef; bring to a simmer. Add 1/4 cup taco
    seasoning and stir till thickened.

This will season about 20 pounds of ground beef. If you buy
    your
packets @ 33 cents, this would cost you $6.60. If you buy
    your
taco seasoning for 50 cents per packet you would be paying
    $10
for the same amount of seasoning. I can make this batch of
    seasoning for just under $3.00
