    3-4 lbs. roast beef. Slice thinly.

    Marinade (can use for fried rice and chop chae too):
    1 cup soy sauce
    3 green onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp sesame seeds
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    2-3 Tbsp sesame oil
    1/4 cup sugar (or 2-3 Tbsp corn syrup)
    1 onion, chopped (amount is optional ... use to your taste)
    4 carrots, sliced (amount is optional ... use to your taste)
    ginger (size of 2 garlic cloves), crush with flat end of knife
    (she also threw in some Coca-Cola ... maybe 1/2 cup? ... and told us any
    kind of pop was good for tenderizing)

    Marinate meat from 1 hour to 1 day. Koreans cook this at the table on a little
    gas grill.
    This can be cooked in frying pan with onions and green peppers. Or skewer with
    mushrooms, onions, green peppers and grill. Serve with steamed rice.
