    2 lbs sirloin tip steak
    1 large green pepper, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    2-4 oz cans sliced or pieces mushrooms, drained
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    about 2 1/4 cups water
    3 Tblsps corn starch
    salt and pepper to taste

    Trim fat off sirloin and cut into thin strips, brown in a small amount
    of oil in large skillet. When done add green pepper, onion and
    mushrooms to meat. Cook on medium until vegetables start to cook, but are still
    a little crisp, stirring often. Mix together the cornstarch with the
    remaining 1/4 cup water and set aside. Add 2 cups water and bouillon
    cubes, and on high heat bring to a boil. Then add the cornstarch a little
    at a time stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. If it's not thick
    enough, make another cornstarch and water mixture and add slowly and
    only enough to reach desired thickness. .
    I usually serve this with a salad and baked potatoes, but it would also
    go great with noodles.
