    Beef: Freezer Shephard's Pie

    List of Ingredients




    4 cups cooked beef -- or lamb or veal
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    3 cups mixed vegetables -- cooked
    2 cups gravy
    Mashed potatoes -- enough for 4 servings
    parsley -- as garnish

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients. Divide between two 1-quart baking pans sprayed
    with nonstick cooking spray.

    Wrap, label and freeze.

    To serve: Remove casserole from freezer, remove cover, and bake in a
    preheated 425 degree F oven for 55 minutes or until bubbly.

    Top with prepared mashed potatoes made from either a box of instant
    mashed potatoes or homemade mashed potatoes. You will needed enough
    potatoes to serve 4 people. Mound the mashed potatoes over the heated
    meat mixture and sprinkle parsley over potatoes.

    Each pan makes enough for 4 servings each or a total serving amount
    for 8 people.
