    Make mashed potato patties from your favorite recipe, or use Ellen's
    Freezable, holdable mashed potatoes with garlic variation, ready to pull
    out to top a shepard's pie or make patties. Flash freeze single servings
    on a cookie sheet, uncovered, for several hours in the freezer until
    frozen and then pack them in freezer bags for storage. When ready to
    use, remove wrap and put directly into a 425 oven. Bake for 30 minutes.
    After 15 to 20 minutes in the oven, top you can each potato patty with
    grated cheese. Or cook on top of the stove, browning in a little butter.
