    These congo bars are to die for! Everyone who's had
    them has raved about them! I am going to take these to every pot
    luck that I go to from now on as a sure fire winner! Also I won't be
    able to stay if I don't. lol

    I froze them for a little over a week and they were just as moist and
    full of flavor as the day that I baked them. Would have frozen them
    for longer but we just coulden't resist them!

    List of Ingredients




    2 3/4 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    2/3 cup butter
    1 pound brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups chocolate chip
    1 cup nuts -- optional
    1 cup coconut -- optional

    Recipe



    Melt butter.

    Mix in beaten eggs and brown sugar.

    Add vanilla and dry ingredients.

    Add chocolate chips. Also add nuts &/or coconut if desired.

    Bake in a greased 9"x13" baking pan at 350 F for 24 minutes.
