    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. breadcrumbs
    1/4 c. milk
    4 oz. Romano or Parmesan cheese, grated
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper, to taste
    spaghetti sauce of your choice, homemade or store bought

    Mix spices with breadcrumbs, and grated cheese.

    Thoroughly combine with remaining ingredients, by hand. Shape into
    balls.

    Brown in a pan, in olive oil on all sides, or alternatively, bake in
    a 400 degree oven for approximately 20-30 mins., until browned, but
    not cooked through.

    The meatballs maintain their shape better using the oven method.

    Add to spaghetti sauce, and simmer for 30 mins. before serving.
