    Honey Roasted Pretzels

    11 ounces pretzels -- miniature
    1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 tablespoon honey
    1 tablespoon corn syrup
    1/8 teaspoon baking soda

    Recipe



    Place pretzels in 2-quart microwave-safe dish. Set aside.

    Combine brown sugar, butter, honey and corn syrup. Microwave on high
    45 to 60 seconds or until mixture boils hard, stirring once.

    Continue to microwave on high for another 60 seconds. Stir in baking soda.

    Pour thin stream over pretzels and stir to lightly coat.

    Microwave on medium (50 percent) 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly
    toasted, stirring twice. Turn onto buttered baking sheet to cool;
    break into pieces as necessary. Store in tightly covered container in
    a cool place. Makes about 9 cups.
