    Creamy Corn and Potato Soup

    List of Ingredients




    1 small onion, chopped
    2 carrots, diced
    2 tablespoons butter
    3 cans (14 ounces each) ready-to-use chicken broth
    4 large potatoes, peeled and diced (see Option)
    3 cans (14-3/4 ounces each) cream-style corn
    2 cups (1 pint) heavy cream
    1 teaspoon black pepper
    1 teaspoon sugar

    Recipe



    In a soup pot, sauté the onion and carrots in the butter over medium
    heat for 5 to 6 minutes, or until tender.
    Add the chicken broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook for 12
    to 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
    Add the remaining ingredients, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until
    heated through. Serve immediately.
