    1/2 stick butter
    3/4 cup diced baked ham
    1 1/2 cups finely diced raw potatoes
    1/4 tsp pepper
    4 1/2 cups milk
    1/2 cup minced onion
    1/2 cup finely chopped celery
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    3 tbs flour

    Recipe



    In a 3 quart pan, melt oleo; add onions, ham and celery. Saute until
    vegetables are tender. Add potatoes and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Stir
    in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk and continue to cook over low heat,
    stirring frequently, about 15 minutes or until potatoes are done. DO NOT
    BOIL. Makes 6 cups. Serve with cheese sticks and crackers.
