24 Hour Dill Pickles

List of Ingredients
Boil 6 cups water
2 cups vinegar
1/4 cup salt
Place in crock or jar (big)
Layer of fresh dill weed ( around 6 stalks )
Garlic ( 5 or 6 cloves, peeled )
Cucumbers with ends trimmed ( 2-1/4 to 2-3/4 lbs. )
Recipe
Pour boiling syrup over all and let stand for 24 hours
then refrigerate.
