    Broccoli, frozen 1 Pound
    Rice, long grain, uncooked 1 Cup
    Butter 1/2 Cup
    Cream of Mushroom Soup 10 3/4 Ounce
    Cream of Chicken Soup 10 3/4 Ounce
    Cheddar Cheese, shredded 8 Ounce
    Onion, chopped 1 Cup
    Mushrooms, sliced 8 Ounce

    PREP DIRECTIONS
    Allow broccoli to thaw just enough that it can be broken apart. Chop onions. Cook rice. Brown onions in butter, if desired, for flavor.

    ASSEMBLY DIRECTIONS
    Mix all ingredients together. Place mix in a gallon-sized freezer bag or 9x13 baking dish. Wrap baking dish well in foil and place in a 2-gallon freezer bag. Label and freeze.

    SERVING DIRECTIONS
    Thaw. Pour into 9x13 baking dish, if not already in a baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

    COMMENTS
    Everyone has their favorite version of this dish. It's a great kid-pleaser! Somehow kids love broccoli when it's got a cheese-flavored sauce on it!

    Options: Add water chestnuts on the day you serve it. Cover the top with additional cheese. For a more adult flavor, add crunchy pine nuts or sprinkle with green onions on serving day.
