    Mamaw 's Homemade Yeast Rolls

    Scald 1 pint of milk; add 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 tsp. salt, and 1 stick of butter or margarine while hot. Let cool, then dissolve 1 cake of yeast in milk. Next stir in 5 cups sifted flour. Set in warm place to raise double. Roll out with as little flour as possible & cut. Let rolls start to raise good, then bake at 375° until lightly browned. Brush tops with butter.
