    1 cup flaked, sweetened coconut
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1 (18.25-ounce) box German chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
    1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
    1 (16-ounce) box confectioner's sugar
    1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
    1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract





    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13x2-inch pan. Spread coconut and pecans on bottom of pan. Mix cake according to package directions and pour over coconut and pecans. Mix sugar, butter, cream cheese and extract; spread over cake. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Serves 16 to 20.
